New Components

Need a new component that isn't available yet? Here are your options:

1. Integrated Circuits

Try using the Integrated Circuit 2 component. Many ICs can be created by setting the properties on this existing component.

If the IC you created would be useful for other users, you can download the YAML definition and raise a pull request to include it in the components repository.

2. See if anyone else has requested the same component

Check the components issues tracker on GitHub. If someone else has requested it already, vote for the issue. This helps determine which components are needed the most.

3. Check the ext-components repository

Check the ext-components repository, which contains components converted from other sources into Circuit Diagram format.

4. Create an issue requesting the new component

Create an issue on the components project requesting the new component. If possible, try to include an image of what it should look like.
